School Council is hosting a fundraising night at the Midway Family fun park on February 24th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. We have arranged a discounted rate of $20 per child for that night (compared to the usual $36).
We encourage families to invite their friends that aren’t from Mutchmor to attend as well; it should be a fun night. If you would like to participate you must return your order form with payment to the school by Feb. 16th. Cheques should be made out to Mutchmor School Council.

Trustees Support "The Switch" and New MFI Program
On December 12, a Committee of the Whole of the Board of Trustees voted nearly unanimously to approve the option known as "The Switch": expanding Mutchmor PS, and switching buildings with First Avenue PS. Also approved were the creation of a new MFI program in the Glebe for 2012, and redirecting all Glebe grade 7 & 8 students to Glashan for 2012.

Upcoming Accommodation Study Public Meetings
There will be a public meeting for the Centretown, Glebe & Old Ottawa South Elementary School Accommodation Study on Thursday October 27th from 7-9pm in the auditorium of Lisgar Collegiate Institute (29 Lisgar St.). Please plan to attend!
